Two Canes partnered with the WE-CAN Project at Queen’s University to kick off the OvercomeHER Workshop Series aimed at celebrating women entrepreneurs thriving with disabilities in the greater Kingston region (and beyond).Through their virtual workshop, they shared their stories of adaptation and relearning, both in life and in starting an accessibility consulting firm. They also offered tips on how to make businesses more accessible and inclusive.

Sarina and Natalie joined a virtual panel, sponsored by Kingston Economic Development Corporation, to mark International Day of Persons with Disabilities on Friday, Dec. 3, 2021 to discuss their consulting work, raised awareness, and shared tips for accessibility.

Two Canes is part of Kingston EcDev Ask the Expert Program, as the featured accessibility experts. Through this program, small business owners can have access to experts in the fields of accounting and bookkeeping, legal, social media, human resources, coaching and marketing, and business strategy, at no charge.

Mind Your Own Business: An AMI-tv Docuseries

In early 2022, Two Canes filmed an episode of Mind Your Own Business, a docuseries that follows entrepreneurs and business owners with disabilities. We worked with mentors to overcome challenges we were facing as business owners
